Becoming a SWMAS member helps to keep the club going and creates an organized group of hobbyists in and around SW Michigan.

Come see us at any of our monthly meetings or other club activities such as Swaps and Auctions to purchase an individual, youth, or family membership.

    As a member, you will be able to get a swap table for half the cost! Member price $10 and Non-member price $20

  • Sell and buy fish!

    Being a member of SWMAS connects you with local fishkeepers and events where you can buy and sell more fish, aquatic plants, equipment, and more.

  • Be a part of the Executive Board and Standing Committees.

    As a club member, you will be able to run for executive board positions.

    SWMAS will be putting its constitution on the website soon. It will include all positions and committees available.

  • Access to club meeting new and rare auctions!

    During some of our club meetings, we will bring in new and rare fish and host a paid-member-only auction!

    Memberships are available at the event and online in the membership tab.

  • Discounts at local fish shops!

    Show your SWMAS Membership card at the time of purchase.

    • Water Colors Aquarium Gallery in Grand Rapids, Michigan. (10%, show current SWMAS card).

    As a club member, you can start collecting points towards the following club programs:

  • Attendance to monthly club meetings!

    SWMAS members reach out to speakers in order to provide our members with continuing education opportunities.

    These meetings are available via zoom and in-person (location shared based on date), see events section.

    These meetings may also have mini-auctions, bowl shows, new and rare auctions, raffles, and more.

  • Summer Cookout and Holiday Party

    Summer Cookout (Generally in June)

    Holiday Party (December 3, 2021 at 7 PM at the ReCast Church of Mattawan). Zoom option available for the Election portion of the party.

    • Paid members only, membership forms available at events and online.

    • Mini-Auction 100% to the seller

    • New and rare auction

    • SWMAS provides the main dish, drinks, and chips provided.

    • Members should bring a dish to pass.
